Suomy Speedstar 2 Visual Full-Face Helmet - black-red

The SPEEDSTAR 2 is Suomy’s new full-face helmet featuring elegant, dynamic, and performance-oriented shapes, with the unmistakable Suomy design. Developed in Italy using advanced digital technologies, it has been tested in the wind tunnel and on the road for optimal riding dynamics.

The shell, available in two sizes, is made from a new blend of carbon, aramid, and fiberglass specifically designed for E2206 approval. The Hydrocool interior is crafted with state-of-the-art technology to ensure comfort, reliability, and safety. Racing performance meets sport-touring requirements, resulting in an aerodynamic, versatile, and comfortable helmet with technical solutions suitable for all types of roads.

Shell

The shell is made of TRICOMPOSITE fiber, a new composite that provides a lightweight yet strong and protective structure. It combines carbon fibers with different strength and breaking loads, fiberglass, and aramid fibers to ensure maximum impact resistance according to ECE 2206 standards. The SPEEDSTAR 2 is available in two shell sizes: M and L.

Internal Protective Polystyrene (EPS)

The internal EPS liner is available in four sizes (S, M, L, XL) with variable densities for progressive and uniform impact absorption. While the outer shell absorbs most of the energy, the EPS liner plays a crucial role in dissipating residual energy.

Visor

The visor is made of scratch-resistant polycarbonate with variable thickness. It can be easily removed without tools, and the release lever made of lightweight metal ensures stability. Additionally, it features a Racing Lock System (PAT PEND) to prevent accidental opening in case of a crash.

Sun Visor

The SPEEDSTAR 2 is equipped with a large internal sun visor with cable technology, easily operated with the left hand via a button on the edge of the shell.

Anti-Fog System

The helmet is equipped with PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120, the most effective anti-fog system currently on the market.

Ventilation

Four air intakes in the shell work in conjunction with an integrated channel system for optimal airflow. Two built-in rear air outlets, together with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect that efficiently removes warm air.

Interiors

Cheek pads and interior padding are removable, washable, and replaceable. The Hydrocool textile wicks away moisture, keeps the head cool and dry, and is soft, lightweight, and breathable. Cheek pads are customizable and can be easily removed in emergencies thanks to the quick-release system.

Retention System

The chin strap features a micrometric buckle system for maximum safety and easy release.
