But only our decades of experience developing motorcycle helmets, our uncompromisingly high processing quality, and our research looking at the demands of motorcyclists of today and tomorrow turn these features into a premium sports helmet: the compact and light SHOEI NXR2, traditionally high-quality sports helmets from the XR series.
Safety
Its outer shell, made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), offers optimal impact protection in connection with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements with different absorption capacities.
The CWR-F2 visor, newly developed for the SHOEI NXR2, with its two-dimensional shape enables a distortion-free and very natural view. Reinforcements on the upper and lower edge of the visor increase the torsional stiffness, and a locking mechanism, now in the middle, prevents the visor from opening unintentionally. Thanks to the advanced mechanics of the previous model, it can be changed and adjusted quickly and without tools.
The enlarged, anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens, included in delivery, allows for a large unobstructed field of vision, even under difficult weather conditions, thanks to the fastening points that are set far to the rear.
The chinstrap, with a double-D fastener, is easily adjustable and holds the helmet securely in place. In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed thanks to the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) for easy helmet removal.
Wearing comfort
5 different outer shell sizes (XXS-S | M | L | XL-XXL | XXXL) make the NXR2 a compact, lightweight sports helmet with a wide range of sizes. Its light weight relieves the neck muscles, reducing fatigue, regardless of whether it is used for sport on the racetrack or on long trips.
ventilation
The 6 ventilation inlets and 4 exhaust air outlets of the SHOEI NXR2 are connected via a branched ventilation system within the helmet shell and noticeably reduce the temperature and humidity in the helmet. They always ensure an adequate supply of fresh air for the driver without increasing the noise level. The result is a pleasant climate inside the helmet for a concentrated and fatigue-free ride, both with a sporty driving style on the racetrack as well as with motorcycle trips in warm countries.
Accessories
Visors are available for the SHOEI NXR2 in a variety of different tints and reflections, which can be used in compliance with ECE-accepted guidelines. The helmet is equipped with a clear CWR-F2 type visor standard. Anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses, one of which is included in delivery, can be attached to all visors of this type.
In the SHOEI range of accessories, cheek pads and head pads are available in different sizes and strengths to replace the original pads or to customize the helmet. As well as a chin strap pad, a breath guard, and a chin curtain.
Scope of delivery
Delivery of the SHOEI NXR2 includes a PINLOCK®EVO lens for use in the CWR-F2 visor, which is fitted as standard, and suitable replacement pins. Also included are a breath guard, a chin curtain, a SHOEI logo sticker, an original SHOEI helmet bag, for the careful storage of the helmet, and silicone oil for the care of the visor seal and mechanism.
