VERSATILE FOLDABLE HELMET
With the NEOTEC3 helmet, SHOEI continues its series of successful flip-up helmet models with “TEC” in the name. Whether in everyday city traffic, on evening trips on curving roads or on long motorcycle tours with like-minded people -NEOTEC3 will impress you with outstanding features for all purposes. Its large integrated QSV-2 sun visor offers excellent glare protection even when the sun is low. Certified according to the current test standard ECE-R 22.06, NEOTEC3 is also suitable for use with the chin flap open thanks to P/J homologation at adjusted speed. When the helmet is completely closed, an integrated, deeply branched ventilation system provides fresh air and cooling. The revolutionary SHOEI COMLINK interface allows for the perfect integration of SENA's SRL3 MESH communication system. Smooth external surfaces and transitions keep the driver's noise exposure to a minimum. The micro-ratchet closure on the comfortable, narrow chin strap makes it easier to put on and take off this incomparably high-quality flip-up helmet model from SHOEI.

SAFETY
The outer shell of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix), in conjunction with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements with different absorption capacities, provides optimal impact protection that meets the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard. The SHOEI NEOTEC3 also meets the requirements of this test standard for full-face helmets and open-face helmets. In addition to the recommended use with the chin flap closed, a second, stable grid position also allows you to use helmet with the chin flap open and locked. The transparent CNS-3C visor installed as standard provides a nearly unlimited horizontal and vertical field of vision. The anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lens included with the helmet ensures clear vision even in adverse weather conditions. The narrow chin strap with micro-ratchet closure provides comfort for the wearer while also holding the helmet securely in position. A stainless steel locking mechanism locks the chinstrap securely and reliably in the closed position.

COMFORT
3 different outer shell sizes (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) offer a wide range of sizes for the SHOEI NEOTEC3 and also an optimal ratio of helmet size to rider size. The helmet's balanced design protects the neck muscles, thus preventing fatigue, both when commuting within the city and also on extended tours or long motorcycle trips. The 3D contoured head pad, the pre-shaped cheek pads with noise isolators and the chin strap pad are completely removable and washable. Head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses for individual adaptation of the helmet. The fit of the helmet can be adjusted vertically as needed by inserting a pad into the top part of the helmet. Cheek pads with a full-bodied underside that extend into rear of the helmet, together with the removable ear pads, also contribute to the noise reduction. The CNS-3C visor, a standard feature, prevents drafts and rainwater from penetrating thanks to its characteristic upper edge that inclines towards the helmet shell. It can be opened and also closed firmly with the centrally positioned locking mechanism. For more fresh air while riding, the visor mechanism can be opened to create an additional slit. The visor can be replaced without tools thanks to the proven, self-adjusting quick-replacement mechanism. The integrated, high-quality sun protection visor QSV-2 of the SHOEI NEOTEC3 can be continuously extended to cover the usable field of vision almost completely, including downwards. It can be easily replaced without tools with an optional, yellow-tinted visor with a contrast-enhancing effect. This additional visor ensures optimal visibility for many purposes, under many different weather conditions. Recesses near the ears, pre-moulded cable guides and cavities for installation of equipment parts permit easy and quick installation of the SRL3 communication system from SENA®, which is available from the SHOEI line of accessories.

VENTILATION
Ventilation inlets tilted into the wind take in fresh air to reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI NEOTEC3. A removable filter in the lower front vent prevents insects from entering. Raised ventilation controls are easy to operate even with thick gloves, meaning the helmet can also be used in cold temperature zones or during the cold season.

AERODYNAMICS
Smooth surfaces and transitions reduce the wind resistance of the helmet and the wearer's noise exposure, while also making visible the integrated spoilers on the side and back of the helmet, which project the sporting personality of the SHOEI NEOTEC3. A stable mechanism ensures an eccentric rotational movement of the chin part when opening and closing, thus minimizing the gap between the chin part and the helmet shell. The transition area between the chin part and the helmet shell is designed to be smooth in order to reduce turbulence to the ears and any disturbances from noise.

ACCESSORIES
Visors in different tints and reflecting finishes are available for the SHOEI NEOTEC3, although they must be used in compliance with ECE standards. Another standard feature of this helmet is the CNS-3C visor. Anti-fog PINLOCK®EVO lenses can be fastened to all available visors of this type, and one is included with purchase of the helmet. The integrated, heavily tinted sun visor model QSV-2 can be exchanged for a yellow-tinted version with a contrast-enhancing effect from the SHOEI line of accessories. The SHOEI line of accessories also includes cheek pads with or without a noise isolator, head pads in different sizes and thicknesses, and an insertable pad for the top of the head. They can be used to replace the original padding or to adjust the fit of the helmet to individual needs. A chin strap pad, a breath guard and a chin curtain in faux leather are also available. The SRL3 Mesh communication system from SENA®, in the SHOEI line of accessories, can be inserted into the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the NEOTEC3. When paired with a mobile phone, a navigation device or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh can provide information and entertainment while riding and fits almost invisibly into the helmet shell of the NEOTEC3. The SRL3 Mesh provides rich sound and crystal-clear voice transmission with its high-end speakers, top-quality microphone and sound system from harman/kardon®.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY
On purchase of the SHOEI NEOTEC3, you will also receive a PINLOCK®EVO lens for use in the standard CNS-3C visor, as well as suitable replacement pins and a small maintenance tool to help install you the SRL communication system. Also included are a breath guard, a chin curtain (already mounted), SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for protective storage of the helmet and a silicone oil for lubrication of the visor seal and mechanics. The helmet manual and the brochure on “Correct use of your helmet” contain valuable information on the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI NEOTEC3.
