The DRIFT EVO II is Caberg’s top-of-the-range full-face helmet with a modern and sport-inspired design, developed for the most demanding touring riders. Following the huge success of the previous DRIFT EVO, in production until the end of 2023, Caberg has introduced an evolution of this well-known helmet with a completely renewed lightweight shell, available in fiberglass and carbon fiber. The outer shell is produced in two sizes (small: XS–M, large: L–XXL) to offer the perfect balance between comfort and fit. The rear spoiler gives the helmet a sporty and aggressive look while enhancing aerodynamics at higher speeds and reducing turbulence.
The DRIFT EVO II features a transparent anti-scratch visor and an adjustable Pinlock Max Vision 70 lens included in the box. It is equipped with an easy-to-use quick-release visor mechanism that allows self-adjustment to ensure close contact between the visor and window beading. To prevent sudden visor opening during a ride, it features a central visor locking system and an opening button that allows the visor to stop with a minimum gap to eliminate fogging. The helmet also has an integrated anti-scratch sun visor (DVT – Double Visor Tech), easily operated with a lateral lever.
Air circulation is ensured by two chin vents that direct airflow to the inner side of the visor to prevent misting, two top vents that channel fresh air into the helmet, and four rear extractors that expel hot and stale air. The inner lining is made from hypoallergenic, breathable fabrics, is fully removable and washable. The cheek pads have a quick-release system that allows safe removal in emergencies, even while wearing the helmet, and are ergonomically shaped to accommodate glasses. The chin strap uses an aluminum double D-ring.
For the ECE 22.06 homologated DRIFT EVO II, Caberg developed the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID, an electronic device installed in the helmet to store personal data, medical records, and emergency contacts. Thanks to NFC technology, responders can quickly access this information with a smartphone, and emergency contacts can be notified of the rider’s location via SMS.
The DRIFT EVO II is ready to be equipped with the Caberg Pro Speak EVO communication system, allowing music streaming, mobile or MP3 connectivity, communication with a riding partner or passenger up to 200 meters, and GPS connectivity. To guarantee maximum safety, the DRIFT EVO II passed all ECE 22.06 tests even with the Pro Speak EVO installed.
